Delivered new to Tinsley in 1965 as D1868, this Class 47 became 47218 in 1974 and was named United Transport Europe during 1990. It was cut up Feb 2002 having spent most of its life on the eastern side of the country at 41A, 51L, 34G, 40B, HM, IM then a while at CD, back to TI for 10 years and finally BS in 1998 (info Class47.co.uk)
