August 1st, 1990: Inverness-based Class 47 47460 leaves Keith for Aberdeen. Originally D1580 is was first based at Gateshead and had a spell at Holbeck during the 1970s. It moved to Scotland in 1979 and after its 11 year period here it returned south in July 91 to Crewe, had a short spell at Tinsley, returned to Crewe and was withdrawn in January 1992 |
