June 10th, 1989: Healey Mills - Class 37 37422. Built in 1965 as D6966 its first depot was Tinsley. The engine went on to Stratford, became 37266, moved to Wales in 1981 and then in 1985 transferred to Eastfield. While here it as fitted with ETH and became 37422. It was on the move again in 1989 - back to its original depot at Tinsley where it was based when this shot was taken.

March 25th, 1989: The only Class 47 to carry Regional Railways livery, 47475, heads past Ravensthorpe with a Liverpool to Newcastle express. It later became parcels red.

December 17th, 1988: Healey Mills with Class 37 37521 (formerly D6817, 37117) of Thornaby with Class 56 56030 (TI). Behind are 56095 (TI) and 47238 Bescot Yard (TI)

June 18th, 1988: Departmental Class 45 97413 Amethyst at Healey Mills. Originally D114 and then 45066, the engine was first withdrawn in July 1987, returning to traffic as 97413 in October. Final withdrawal was just a month after this pic was taken

August 1st, 1987: Variety at Healey Mills - Class 37 37012 complete with Highland Terrier recently transferred from ED to TI. The three closer engines are Class 47 47052 (SF) with a very grubby silver roof, the front of Class 56 56093 and finally 56106 with large numbers. Another 37, two 47s and two 56s are also visible
