November 12th,1968: Tinsley Class 37 D6802 (later 37102, 37712) arrives at Healey Mills with a mixed freight. The locomotive surives today, stored at Carnforth (Nov 2009)

Brighouse Station, Thursday, April 2nd, 1964 - 1: Aintree WD 2-8-0 90641 with a coal train for Lancashire

July 4th, 1968: Stanier 8F 48111 (xBolton) at Healey Mills. Withdrawn in March 1968, the 8F was stored in a line  with three other 8Fs, a single Black 5 and one Standard Class 5. Chalked in white on the tender is

03: Wakefield / Healey Mills in the 60s and 70s
January 4th, 1967: 55F Manningham withdrawn Ivatt 2-6-0 43054 is in a sorry state. Not much better for 43050, in steam behind, a cop for me having been transferred from 51A.

Leeds Holbeck, August 7th, 1991: Looking well in civil engineers livery is 47346 (IM). Three 31s all in different liveries - 31247 (red solebar), 31563 (Dutch) and 31230. On the end is 37202. All are IM based

May 22, 1988: Class 20s 20035 (nearest) and 20066 - both Immingham engines at this time? Amazingly both survive today, 20035 is preserved and 20066 is with Corus as Scunthorpe as No 82. Various classes behind

Class 47 47367 (D1886) survived in BR service until 2003. I saw this locomotive as D1886 at Leeds Holbeck in 1967 (IM) and York in 1968 (TI). Then as 47367 at Toton during 1984

Class 03 03189. New to Swindon depot in 1961, it moved to Barrow Hill in 1968 and then Birkenhead North in 1981. It was withdrawn from here in 1986.

Taken near Heaton Lodge Junction, Mirfield, on Wednesday, November 4th, 2009.
First we see a Leeds to Manchester Transpennine unit followed by the Stockport to Scunthorpe bins train behind 66581 Sophie.
After a pleasant 30min walk down the Calder and Hebble canal it was time for the return
working (which pass each other around Wakefield) to come through behind 66526 named Driver Steve Dunn (George)
