Class 47 47404 Hadrian (GD) leads 47379 (IM) light engine through Mirfield towards Leeds. 47379 was only the second 47 I had ever seen in the then new BR freight grey livery (during the early 80s everything was blue, blue or blue). It was named Total Energy five days later at Leeds City station. Originally D1898 - spent most of its life allocated to Immingham or Tinsley and was finally cut up in December 1999.

47404 was originally D1503 and served its entire life based on the Eastern Region (at FP, IM and GD). It only carried two liveries, two tone green and BR blue. Withdrawn in May 1987, it was cut up in January 1990.
